Climate action

Making the future a better place to live and work

It is our responsibility to take climate action. The built environment produces 39% of global carbon emissions – more than any other sector. The challenge of decarbonising is the largest we have ever faced.

To achieve net-zero by 2050 we must lead the way, creating more sustainable ways of living and working.

M Moser is committed to working closely with our partners and peers. We’re pioneering new methods of design and construction, cutting waste and working to shift industry standards. Together, we are working towards a low-carbon future.

Climate roadmap

Carbon emissions happen across the whole lifecycle of a building. As a result, each step on our journey benefits clients in their own decarbonisation efforts. Our upstream and downstream efforts are tied together.

Above all, our mission is to help deliver a more sustainable industry. One that supports our planet, society, businesses and people.

This page describes our roadmap and targets. In addition, it will host reports on our progress and offer resources to help your organisation get started.

  • Reduce operational emissions by 25%, compared to 2019 baseline
2030

Net-zero projects as standard

  • Design all new buildings to be net-zero operational emissions as standard
  • Reduce our scope 3 equivalent carbon emissions by 30% vs 2025 baseline
  • Reduce energy used on-site during construction by 20%, compared to 2022 baseline
