Resonance, design installation at Glue Amsterdam

Resonance is an immersive audio-visual experience that celebrates the differences in how our brains respond to environmental stimuli.

We’re proud to be showcasing Resonance during Glue at our Amsterdam living lab on 19 – 20 September. This innovative experience explores and celebrates the diverse ways in which our brains respond to environmental stimuli through the use of wearable tech and generative art.

Resonance visual

Each visitor will craft their own artwork based on their brain activity, experienced through spatial light and sound. Wearing an EEG headband, their brainwave data is captured and transformed into a visual representation with a corresponding soundtrack. These visuals and sounds are then projected into the room, creating an immersive experience. Each recording will be added to an online archive of user-generated Resonances, each one totally unique.

Resonance is not just an art installation; it’s a celebration of neurodiversity. By allowing people to create their own unique artworks based on their brain activity, we are acknowledging and embracing the differences in how we all perceive and respond to the world around us.
