Sam is a sustainability and healthy buildings expert with professional accreditations in WELL, LEED, RESET, BREEAM and SKA. As an Associate Director at M Moser Sam engages in global health and sustainability initiatives and projects, focusing on portfolio engagements with clients. Sam has worked across major cities such as New York, Hong Kong and London, where she has developed a robust understanding of international sustainable practices.
She holds an MPH in Environmental Health Science and Policy from Columbia University and a BA in Psychology from Vassar College which has shaped her interest in topics such as carbon/GHG emissions, plastics reduction, health and wellbeing, DEI, operational efficiency, material health and safety and portfolio-level ESG company strategy.
Sam is involved with various professional bodies such as the WELL Faculty, CREW, Women In Office Design, the Sustainable Design Collective and CoreNet (Young Leaders UK Committee), which has enabled her to share knowledge around various sustainability topics. She has also contributed to 2 published patents on wellness systems.
Sam advocates for a collective approach to sustainability and hopes, “one day there won’t be any sustainability teams, as we need it to be everyone’s responsibility, no matter what your job is.”
Her broad range of project experience across sustainability topics enables her to understand intersections of sustainable practice, making her an invaluable asset to our clients and their projects.
