Hyatt, renowned for its unparalleled hospitality and innovative design, needed to reimagine some of its offices around the world. The aim was to amplify its global workplace presence while maintaining a signature ambience that resonates in each location.
Our long-standing collaboration with Hyatt, spanning projects from Asia and across the globe, has deepened our understanding of its vision and operational needs. This extensive experience, combined with our team of multicultural professionals across locations, uniquely positions us as the ideal partner for the group. Together, we created destinations that support business growth and capture the brand’s unique identity.
When you step into a Hyatt hotel, you immediately feel a sense of tranquillity and elegance—a feeling we aimed to recreate in the Tokyo office. The entrance, flanked by Shoji-inspired art, introduces a space that blends classical Japanese aesthetics with Hyatt’s modern sophistication.
Each meeting room showcases artworks celebrating traditional art forms like calligraphy and pottery. Ceilings are inspired by traditional machiya (Japanese townhouses) wooden beams, adding warmth and authenticity. Vibrant colour accents balance minimalist aesthetics, reflecting the local heritage and Hyatt’s commitment to refined, inspiring spaces.
Hyatt’s commitment to sustainability is a cornerstone of its brand philosophy, a principle that was essential in shaping the Singapore office. The workplace reflects the group’s rigorous environmental standards using recycled materials like chopsticks and architectural-grade terracotta.
The design draws from the character of heritage shophouses, featuring vibrant colours, warm timber tones and detailed woodwork that reflect the area’s layered architectural history. By balancing responsible practices with refined aesthetics, the space upholds Hyatt’s global standards of hospitality and sustainability.
As Hyatt continues its rapid global expansion, its workplaces are designed to make a bold statement – reflecting the brand’s presence in every region. In Delhi, we weaved traditional Indian elements such as repurposed doors and vibrant artwork into the fabric of the space. To create a destination that celebrates cultural richness and Hyatt’s global brand identity, we introduced bold design elements.
We chose colours like deep maroons, saffron yellows and peacock blues, complemented by carefully selected fabrics and intricate wood carvings. This design reflects Hyatt’s commitment to preserving local heritage while maintaining its global brand standards.
Leveraging our global team’s expertise, we’ve transformed Hyatt’s vision into destinations where the brand’s essence is fully captured, its people are inspired and each experience narrates a compelling global and local story.
Designed to inspire staff and create a sense of belonging, these three new destinations blend local culture with the signature “Hyatt house” feel to support the brand’s ongoing global growth.
